JAKARTA, KOMPAS TV – Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menko Polhukam) Mahfud MD respond to events demonstration pulp in front of his house on Jalan Dirgahayu, Bugih Village, Pamekasan District, Pamekasan Regency, East Java, Tuesday (12/1/2020) afternoon.
Mahfud MD responded to the incident through a tweet on his personal Twitter account, @mohmahfudmd on Tuesday (1/12/2020) night.
Mahfud said that he tried not to take action against those who attacked him personally.
This is because he is worried that if he takes action against these protesters, it will cause selfishness and arbitrariness because of the position attached to him.
“I always try to avoid taking action against people who attack me personally for fear of being selfish and arbitrary because I have a position,” Mahfud was quoted as saying from his Twitter account, Tuesday (12/1/2020) night.
“I am ready to be firm for another case that does not harm me. But this time they disturbed my mother, not the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs. “
