Al-Mahdi Suleiman, the Pyramids goalkeeper, confirmed that Al-Ahly had negotiated with him 3 times in the past years, noting that he is currently the No. 1 goalkeeper in Pyramids and wants to achieve tournaments with his club.
Mahdi Suleiman said in statements on “On Time Sports 1” channel, “It is an honor for any player to join Al-Ahly, and if you were in Al-Ahly or Zamalek, I would have participated essentially with the Egyptian team for many years.”
“Al-Ahly negotiated with me for the first time when I was in the ranks of Enppi, I was young, and my tube at that time was not easily leaving its players for the clubs.”
He said, “Walid Suleiman left for Al-Ahly after the famous story of cutting his arteries and he went to the hospital at the time. He loves Al-Ahly, he was in Petrojet and then moved to Enppi, and after he refused to leave Al-Ahly he did this.”
He added, “The second time when I was in Smouha and participating in Africa, before a match with Mazembe, Alaa Abdel Sadiq sat with me, and after that Faraj, a worker, told me that Al Ahly wanted me and that he would ask for 15 million pounds.”
He continued, “Faraj Amer returned to tell me that Al-Ahly offered 2 million pounds and he will ask 10 million, and the negotiations were not completed.”
He concluded, “The last time it was soon, through my sad Mido agent, he confirmed to me the interest of Al Ahly in me, but currently I am No. 1 in Pyramids, I want to achieve an achievement with the team first.”
