The first MagSafe external accessories for the iPhone 12 are appearing on the market, and one of the most interesting is the magnetic power bank. It might not be the prettiest, but it’s easy to lose it. The MagSafe standard of the new 12th iPhone has been touted as a revolution and it actually has a chance to become such a revolution. If – as expected – Apple actually removes the physical port from the iPhone, it will only charge through MagSafe. So far, however, this standard has not been a big hit among users. In our write-up, several iPhone 12 owners are testing different chargers and other accessories that meet this magnetic standard, but there’s no overdoing it. The most popular so far are the small wallet attached to the back of the iPhone, as well as the Belkin magnetic car holder.

What if you create a power bank that works through MagSafe? The Charge Fast company came up with this idea.

Charge Fast MagSafe Ultra-Thin Magnetic Wireless Charging Power Bank is not another title of a suspicious offer from Aliexpress, but the name of a new magnetic power bank. The device is compact and compatible with the MagSafe standard, so it charges your iPhone 12 wirelessly. Simply attach them with a magnet to the case and the iPhone will charge. The gear, however, is more universal, as it will wirelessly charge any device that uses the Qi standard (i.e. many wireless headphones), and it also has a USB-A port for charging. devices with a cable. We charge the power bank via the USB-C port. Wireless charging takes place with a power of 15 W and wired charging with a power of 20 W. The capacity of the power bank is 5000 mAh.

It looks weird, it’s a lot heavier than a wallet, so it’s easier to lose, but it makes a lot of sense.

Wireless power banks are nothing new on the market, as many companies have them in their offerings. Personally, I’ve never liked them, because they run slower than wired power banks, and you don’t know what to do with them when you’re on the move with a smartphone. There is no problem when the smartphone is on such a power bank on the counter, but what if we just need to charge it somewhere on the road or in town? They don’t have handles that would hold such a power bank next to a smartphone. This is why MagSafe has its twisted meaning, as such a power bank will simply stick to the iPhone as if it were stuck on it, and no cables will get tangled in our pockets. So we have a rather elegant and minimalist solution, but why is the powerbank so ugly? Can’t understand why the manufacturer decided not to have some nice embossing and weird colors that don’t match 12 iPhones. Unfortunately, ugly power banks for iPhones are becoming a tradition. Do you remember the famous backs with a power bank, ie. dromedary or perhaps Apple’s Multipla? This Apple gadget looked terrible, but it got the job done. It can be similar with the Charge Fast power bank.
