The Community of Madrid will open the vaccination self-appointment for those over 25 years old this Friday. This was announced by the Minister of Health, Enrique Ruiz Escudero.
In addition, next week, they can make an appointment to be vaccinated against COVID-19 all people over 16 years of age that have not yet been cited.
This tuesday also vaccination has been enabled for students who are going to study abroad in the next year. According to Escudero, they will have to be “over 16 years old and present an entry document in an international program of at least three weeks.”
The objective, has indicated the head of Health of the region, is that “the entire target population” is vaccinated “as soon as possible”, for which they will give “all possible facilities”.
Precisely, this Monday the Government reported that the cumulative incidence among young people is skyrocketing and Fernando Simón warned that “the data is nothing new.” “The higher the transmission in unvaccinated population groups, the more likely it is that among the oldest and most vulnerable groups, who, although vaccinated, are not immunized, come into contact with the virus and we could have some pictures a little more serious“added the director of the Center for Health Alerts and Emergencies.
The Community of Madrid has 40 vaccination points throughout the region, including 29 public hospitals, eight centralized primary care points, the Wanda Metropolitano stadium, the Isabel Zendal Nurse Hospital and the Wizink Center. In addition, for those 35 years or older, the telephone appointment in health centers has been enabled.
If you meet the advertised requirements, you can access the self-citation from this link, clicking on the ‘Request an appointment’ button and including all the required personal data.
