Mask grumpy Donald Trump reminds guests in the reopened wax museum in Times Square in Manhattan to wear mouth and nose protection when taking a selfie.
The wax figure of US President Donald Trump in the New York tourist magnet Madame Tussauds, which has reopened after a Corona break, now welcomes visitors with a mask. The wax museum in Times Square in Manhattan closed in March due to the pandemic and reopened the doors a few days ago – with restricted opening times, visitor capacities, and distance and hygiene rules.
The Trump figure is now standing at the entrance – with a black suit, red tie and black mouth and nose protection. “At over six feet tall, the President is a very impressive figure, so we felt he was the perfect figure to remind our guests to take their selfies safely with a mask,” said spokesman Matthew Clarkson on CNN news channel. The real US President Trump has so far only shown himself in public with a mask now and then.
