Machine Gun Kelly and George Clinton to perform at SummerStage in New York – Marseille News

New York’s popular SummerStage outdoor concert and event series returns starting June 17.

Scheduled until September 21, the program will include more than 30 events, including concerts by Kelly machine gun, George Clinton, Patti Smith, Erica Campbell and more. Fans can request tickets to the SummerStage shows, some free shows, and some paid benefit shows, starting Monday, June 7 on the official City Parks Foundation website.

“We’re excited to bring back SummerStage so all New Yorkers can enjoy in person, outdoors, in the parks again this summer. The artists performing this summer represent a true sense of resilience in their own art and a deep connection to New York City, ”said SummerStage Executive Artistic Director Erika Elliott.

“As we have continued to showcase artists of all genres over the past year with SummerStage Anywhere digitally, we look forward to providing artists with the platform to perform to a live audience and bring communities together to enjoy the live and vibrant experience which is truly unique to our city and our festival.

SummerStage 2021 events will take place at venues outside of New York City, including Rumsey Playfield, Marcus Garvey Park and Coney Island Amphitheater.

Now our parks will help us re-engage with each other, generating the unique energy that is only unleashed by the collective experience of live performances, ”said Heather Lubov, Executive Director of the City Parks Foundation. “This year’s SummerStage program reflects the tenacity and spirit of our city, its dynamism and its creativity. Indigo Girls, Dawes, Galactic, Tito Nieves, La India, Met Opera Summer Recital and more also feature in the SummerStage 2021 lineup. There will be a celebration of New York DJ Funk Flex with R&B artist Ginuwine and more.
