Lynx escapes from wildlife park | Inland

The lynx, named Jumper, escaped with two of its mates during the storm on Saturday when a tree fell on their enclosure. Two lynxes were quickly caught again, but there is still no trace of Jumper. Wildpark has posted a message on Facebook asking local residents to immediately report tips about the escaped lynx.

Wildpark Gangelt is located in a small forest area in Selfkant, where there are also hiking and cycling trails. The zoo is popular with Limburgers, who regularly buy an entrance ticket, especially on weekends. The fifty-hectare park, located on a hilly area, is home to lynx, brown bears, wolves, deer, wild boars, ibex and wild cats.
