Lydia’s troubled childhood will be told on Switch from January 17 – News

Nintendo Switch players will be able to discover the story of Lydia, a young girl faced with the addiction problems of her parents. The Platonic Partnership studio is meeting us on January 17.

Lydia's troubled childhood will be told on Switch from January 17

“A dark adventure, but full of poetry that tackles the theme of alcohol and substance abuse from the perspective of a girl”, this is how the developers present Lydia, a point’n click inspired by their own childhood memories. Building on its atmosphere, its message and its “handmade” graphics in shades of gray, the title invites us to dive into the depths of the troubled imagination of the child and to understand the feelings, behaviors and events that have upset his life. A journey that promises to be short (1:30 to go around), but that promises a strong emotional experience. Everything is fully translated into French.

This will be available at a low price on the eshop (€ 4) from January 17, or now on Steam. Note that the publisher Nakana.io will distribute a “DLC-donation” for € 1 whose income will be fully donated to Fragile Childhood, a non-profit organization responsible for preventing harm caused by parents’ drug addiction.
