Lydia Prenner-Kasper presented her “salon” in Zwettl

Not a single eye remained dry at Lydia Prenner-Kasper’s top-class cabaret evening. The Weinviertler cabaret artist was a guest in the Zwettl town hall at the invitation of the Waldviertler Sparkasse and S-Versicherung. She had her program “Salon Lydia” with her, which made the audience laugh non-stop.

As a true master of her craft, she often didn’t need many words. Lydia Prenner-Kasper makes the audience laugh with just her gestures and facial expressions. As in the artist’s other programs, her family, particularly her three children and her husband, were the inspiration for the show. Lydia processes situations taken from life into humorous statements with a lot of self-irony. She philosophizes about the grotesqueries in life and can laugh about her own fate, preferably together with people who have had similar experiences, that is Lydia Prenner-Kasper’s trademark in her cabaret.
