Lydec, water and electricity operator in Greater Casablanca, has expressed its willingness to grant, “on a case-by-case and exceptional basis”, payment facilities to its customers, in the context of the crisis engendered by the New Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.
“Aware that certain customers are impacted by this difficult context, Lydec remains united and may grant, on a case-by-case and exceptional basis, to those who so wish, payment facilities”, underlines, in a press release, the delegate of public services in the metropolis and neighboring municipalities.
To do this, the request must be sent via the customer relations center, by telephone (0522 31 20 20), by email ([email protected]) and via the Lydec mobile application and the Lydec agency in online (https://client.lydec.ma) or by going to the nearest sales office, while ensuring strict compliance with health guidelines.
From June 1, 2020, Lydec resumed the activity of reading meter indexes to determine customers’ actual water and electricity consumption, which was suspended following the declaration of a state of health emergency.
“Consequently, the previous invoices, which were established on the basis of an estimate of consumption due to sanitary confinement, are regularized in the invoices of customers in June on the basis of their actual consumption”, specifies the same source.
If their invoices are not received, customers can go to their usual agency, consult the Lydec 7/24 website or mobile application, or, if necessary, go to one of the “Spaces Nearest services.
