Families can now get Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines for children 6 months to 4 years of age by appointment only at specific immunization clinics in Schuylkill, Monroe and Luzerne counties.
Pfizer-BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccines are a series of three vaccines, with each dose one-tenth the dose adults receive. Children who get vaccinated will receive the first two doses three weeks apart and the third dose at least two months later.
Future vaccination clinics
Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) will host three vaccination events (by appointment only) for this specific age group at the Pottsville, East Stroudsburg and Hazleton COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics.
