Lupe Vázquez, the Mexican actress known for playing Dr. Cándido Pérez’s iconic nurse, passed away this Thursday.
Jorge Ortiz de Pinedo, who was his partner in this series, gave the terrible news of his death, although until now the causes of death are not known.
“Today my companion of theatrical, television, cinematographic and cabaret adventures left, the wonderful comedian, talented writer and extraordinary comedian Lupe Vázquez …”, wrote Ortiz de Pinedo on his Instagram account.
Lupe’s professional career spanned the theater, television, cabaret and comedy scene. He acted in the program “Dr. Cándido Pérez “for 6 years. This comedy series was broadcast from 1987 to 1993, on Canal de las Estrellas.
He also stood out in productions such as “Until death do us part”, “My dear Isabel”, “The little VIP school”, “Locura de Amor” and his most recent “Los güeros also we are nacos”, among others.
His son, Fernando Canek, also made known about his death on social networks.
In a post on Twitter, he wrote, “Today he went to meet on that plane of the cosmos with his parents, his loves, and those affections that advanced him. Actress, comedian, composer, writer, teacher ”.
