On Friday, people in some parts of the globe have the opportunity to observe the lunar eclipse. This is one of the longest phenomena of this type in the last millennium, with a total duration of about six hours. Pictures of the phenomenon are coming from the world.
–
On Friday, at 7:02 am, the penumbra lunar eclipse began, then at 8:18 am there was a partial eclipse. In Poland, the chance to observe this phenomenon was only in its initial stage and only in the western regions. For most of the eclipse’s duration, the Moon is beyond the horizon.
–
Most of our natural satellite’s disk was obscured at 10.02. The partial eclipse ended at 11.47, while the whole phenomenon will cease to be visible at 13.03. In many parts of the globe, up to 97 percent of the Silver Globe shield will remain in the shadows, previously reported.

Apart from eastern Poland, the inhabitants of parts of Eastern Europe, Africa and the Middle East should not count on admiring the eclipse.
