During the discussion of the protests in Belarus with members of the Security Council, Alexander Lukashenko announced the beginning of aggression against the country. He urged the people not to go out into the streets, claiming that citizens “are being used as cannon fodder.” According to Lukashenka, foreigners who came “from Poland, Holland, Ukraine” are behind the street protests in the republic.
