Luka Doncic will miss at least the Dallas Mavericks game against the Phoenix Suns which takes place this morning from Wednesday to Thursday in peninsular time. The Mavs star sprained his ankle when a rival fell on top during the final moments of his team’s victory against the Nuggets.
According to sources close to the franchise to the ESPN, the Slovenian’s leg and ankle injuries “are not too serious.”
Doncic is expected don’t be long KOAlthough he could miss more than one game, a situation that the Mavs will review day by day.
Ankle sprains have accompanied the adventure of ’77’ in the NBA: in 2019-2020 he missed 11 games for this reason, and played his last three games of the 2020 playoffs despite being injured in the same area.
Doncic averages 24.9 points, 8.3 rebounds and 7.9 assists for a Mavericks who are third in the West with 9 wins and 4 losses.
