Lucasfilm Games and Ubisoft Announce “Star Wars Outlaws” Game for PC and Console

As part of the Xbox Games Showcase, Lucasfilm Games and Ubisoft presented their upcoming open world action-adventure game “Star Wars Outlaws”. The game is being developed for PC, (Ubisoft Connect), Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 and is scheduled for release in 2024.

The story of “Star Wars Outlaws” is set between “Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back” and “Star Wars: Return of the Jedi”. As the Empire seeks the ultimate annihilation of the rebels, the criminal underworld thrives. As a player, you slip into the role of Kay Vess, played by Humberly González. Along with her trusty companion, Nix, played by Dee Bradley Baker, you attempt one of the Outer Rim’s greatest space heists.

The presentation took place in the form of a cinematic trailer. A first look at the gameplay will follow tomorrow, June 12, 2023 at 7 p.m., as part of the Ubisoft Forward Event.
