Regardless of the weather: a croque-monsieur always tastes good. While one person prefers the toasted bread with cheese and ham with ketchup, the other prefers mayonnaise. “For me, both sauces are indispensable”, says star chef Luc Bellings when he passes 5 shops on the coast to test the dish. “And the ratio between cheese and ham has to be perfect.” Could the coastal versions please his discerning palate?
