Low-cost airline Ryanair has returned to profitability

Irish Low-Cost Airline “Ryanair” in the third quarter of its financial year, which ended at the end of December, it operated with a profit of 211 million euros, compared to a loss of 96 million euros in the same period a year ago, the company said in a statement released on Monday.

The return to profitability has been facilitated by the increase in demand and the recovery of the aviation sector from the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The airline carried 38.4 million passengers in October-December, which is almost a quarter more than a year ago.

“Ryanair” explains that strong demand for flights has been observed during the end-of-year holiday period.
