“Love in the shadow of the mafia” by Zahia Musa, reality with the eyes of a novelist | culture

On (Arab House of Science Editori), colleague Zahia Moussa has published a novel called (Love in the shadow of the mafia) which revolves around romantic relationships and illegal acts. The cover is a painting by the artist d. Nizar Daher.

Colleague Elias Al-Atrouni presented the novel and its introduction stated:

In 1990, a lecture on the novel was held in Paris, attended by the Algerian novelist Taher Watar, during which he launched his theory on changing the writing style of the novel so that it turned into an open text, even if this transformation had started earlier, the dose of fantasy is greatly increased after you have achieved what you have achieved.

Zahia Moussa, in her novel We Have, wanted to return to the classic novel with its well-known rules, and perhaps she was right, because this classic fits what the novel means, as it penetrates the world of mafias and illicit acts , and this access cannot be attributed to fantasy.

Zahia benefited from her journalistic experience, both in terms of information that inserts detail into the composition of what she presented, and in terms of staying away from the filler that blurs the light of what she wants to say.

An easy language devoid of complexity and concavity that goes directly to its goal, while being careful to stay away from the declarative aspect of journalistic writing, so he could benefit from his experience without being influenced by the style of the language of this experience.

The subject of the novel (i.e. the mafia) has a great sensitivity, and was previously treated in a novel not as a main focus, but as a part of a whole.

In a successful synthetic game, Zahia was able to introduce the emotional state into the novel as an essential and complementary element, so we followed a romantic atmosphere necessary to mitigate the weight of the ugly world through its opposite.

The love story that accompanied the work was, through its spirituality, the encounter with the excitement of the drug issue in a necessary artistic integration.

The first is a step in a path that we hope will lead to the birth of a novelist committed to the problems of a society in need.

(The novel is 158 pages long
