The novelty is a pre-production concept developed by the RML Group in cooperation with Lotus. Even so, we can be practically sure that the later introduced racing version of the GT4, which will go to customers, will be practically no different from this model.

The car is mainly lighter than the regular Emira model, because it weighs only 1260 kilograms. But it has the same power of 400 horsepower, which may disappoint someone. Although Lotus did not state in which parts the car lost weight, it can be assumed that carbon was used for some components and the unnecessary ones simply disappeared from the car.

Inside the car there is a new dashboard from Motec and a cage certified by the FIA. Six-point belts are a matter of course. In the exterior, we can see 18-inch wheels with Pirelli GT4 tires, and aerodynamics are taken care of by a new front bumper, diffuser and a giant rear wing.

To power the car, a 3.5-liter six-cylinder V-shaped engine from a Japanese Toyota remains, which supplies the car with 400 horsepower and is exclusively connected to a six-speed xTrac transmission controlled by paddles under the steering wheel. Combined with lower weight and racing suspension, it can be a good recipe for fun.
