Next to Smilegate RPGAmazon Games doesn’t slow down when it comes to bringing new features to Lost Ark. Proof of this is that the MMO has just received a substantial update, bringing not only an entire new continent to the game, but also new raids and events – all tailor-made to keep you immersed in the world of Arkesia.
Lost Ark’s December update
Available in Brazil since last Wednesday (13), Lost Ark’s December update – called “The Wonders of Voldis” – pay attention to the news. Of course, the patch brings dozens of general improvements and bug fixes, but the highlights are the newly added content to the adventure.
An example of this is precisely the arrival of a new continent, Folded. The location, which is the land of sages and alchemy, can be accessed by characters with Item Level 1,520 or higher who have already completed the missions A Pleccia World Quest “Twilight Hill” and the Voldis Prelude Quest “Shattered Sea’s Cradle”, and then receive the mission “Kalinar, City of Sages”, at Macaboa Port.

From there, the heroes and heroines of Arkesia gain access to both a new sequence in the MMORPG story and endgame content. This includes Uma’s Tasks, plus 5 NPCs for Rapport, titles, emotes, research, and more. It is worth remembering, however, that some of this material will only arrive in an additional update, which will be released in December 20, 2023.
This Lost Ark update also gives players the chance to test their skills in Guardian Raid de Gargareth (for characters with Item Level 1,610 or higher) or in Season 4 of the Proving Grounds. Meanwhile, the event Freya Iceland brings Christmas celebrations to the game.
Other news include new skins and cosmetic items debuting in the in-game store and the launch of Ark Pass Royal Guardwhich releases materials and resources as you progress along the pass’s trails.
