This Sunday we expect the first trailer of Prime Video series Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power† But before it gets to that, there’s already the first batch of photos, which were released in an extended Vanity Fair special.
We will soon discuss the content of that special in a new article, but of course we didn’t want to withhold the photos from you. Below is the whole ride with new images!
Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power-photo’s
Below is the first photo. The image below is of Galadriel coming out of the water for some air.
Here we see Galadriel as commander of the Northern Armies.
Then the first of three profile pictures. The first shows Prince Durin IV, the prince of the underground empire Khazad-dûm.
The second belongs to the dwarf princess Disa, who stands at the entrance of Khazad-dûm.
And then you see the silvan elf Arondir, a character created for this series.
Above you can see how Galadriel and Halbrand get to know each other. The conditions are quite tough!
A shot of a young Elrond, portrayed in this series as a politically ambitious leader of the elves.
And then a picture of Bronwyn and her forbidden lover Arondir in the village of Tirharad.
You can also see a photo of Elrond and Galadriel together, sharing an affectionate greeting in the elf capital Lindon.
