‘Aquaman’ actress Amber Heard was found guilty of defamation in early June 2022, after a lengthy legal battle. As a result, she has to conjure up a large amount of money: in total about 10 million euros. That’s not nothing and she realizes that all too well. Earlier, her lawyer, Elaine Bredehoft, already dropped in an American talk show that Heard does not have the money. But now ‘TMZ’ has revealed that she has also sold her California home, Yukka Valley. She received almost double the price she paid for it herself in 2019: a sloppy 1.05 million dollars (about 1 million euros). It has not been disclosed whether the sale is actually related to the debt, but it is all very coincidental. The rumor mill is running at full speed.

But that’s not all. Unsealed court documents, which ‘Dailymail’ could see, now also show that Amber would have walked away from a divorce payment, one that could have run into millions of dollars. She could have just got hold of half of 33 million dollars (about 16 million euros). It’s about money Depp made with the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ franchise. Among other things, a film was made when the two were still officially married, with the result that Heard was also entitled to the financial income. But the actress would have chosen at the time not to claim the money and to stand firm. Her lawyers said in an email that she is “amazingly true to her word” and that the actress is “not about money.” Something Heard no doubt now deeply regrets.
