GARDERMOEN / OSLO (Dagbladet): Already at 06.30 on Monday there are long queues at check-in at Oslo Airport Gardermoen. This is the first day of corona passport in the EU, and thus the first major travel day across national borders in a long time.
Most recently on Dagsrevyen on Sunday, airport director Stine Westby said that air travelers must be prepared for up to six to seven hours longer than usual for air travelers on departure and arrival than normal.
To Dagbladet, Avinor’s communications manager Gurli Høeg Ulverud says that there is no more queue than usual.
– It is completely normal that there are cows, says Ulverud.

– It looks like there is a giant queue, but with distance requirements and the like, it is not as long as it looks like, she says,
You have to reckon with the fact that there is a queue when you travel, Ulverud says.
– What is important is that you show up in line with what the airline recommends, she says, and adds that the different airlines recommend slightly different things.

Avinor has prepared «Alternative waiting areas in the terminal».
This weekend, the first Norwegian charter flights also departed from Norway to Greece. It is two months later than it would have been in a normal season before the pandemic.
Norwegian’s communications director, Eline Hyggen Skari, has previously said Dagbladet that they have experienced a large increase in the number of travel bookings after travel restrictions have been eased.
