Lollobrigida must have a guardian, the court ruled

The court ruled out the actress suffering from a serious mental illness. However, according to experts, her perception of reality is weakened, which makes a woman an easy target for fraudsters.

The actress, through her lawyer, told her that she was embittered by the verdict and would continue to defend herself against him. According to her, the court’s decision is “very unfair” and “damages its dignity”. Attorney Filippo Maria Meschini said that due to the covidu-19 pandemic, Lollobrigida did not leave the house where she was painting.

The actress’ son Andrea Milko Skofic has been seeking the appointment of a guardian since 2017, because he believes that his mother is not fully able to manage her property. She claims that her close associates use a woman’s mental state to get rich at her expense.

In mid-September, the court decided to initiate proceedings against Andrea Piazzola, director of the company that managed the actress’ assets, and another man. According to the accusations, they were to seize parts of the jewelry, furniture and works of art that belonged to Lollobrigida to sell at auction. The sale ultimately failed due to the intervention of the judiciary. Lollobrigida herself defends her assistant Piazzola, claiming that her loved ones have decided to “let her die indecently”.
