Lokomotiv fans hang a banner on the departure of Yuri Semin in front of the Russian Railways office

Fans of Moscow Lokomotiv continue to protest against the decision of the club’s management not to renew the contract with the head coach Yuri Semin.

Lokomotiv fan association United South published on Instagram new photos with the action of fans in support of Semin. Fans hung banners along the MCC, at the Lokomotiv station, on the metro stage and on Preobrazhenskaya Square. Fans also placed a banner with the inscription “Semin’s resignation is a shame for Russian Railways” opposite the main office of Russian Railways OJSC.

Earlier, not far from the Cherkizovo stadium, the home arena of the railway workers, graffiti “Only Semin” appeared. On May 14, Lokomotiv officially announced Semin’s resignation as head coach of the club. On June 1, the team will be led by Serb Marko Nikolic.
