Firefighters responded to an alleged fire at the Main-Spessart clinic on Wednesday afternoon in Lohr. Smoke had formed in the hospital boiler room and smelled like it was burning.
The emergency services could not find a fire on the spot, they ventilated the room so that smoke and toxic gases could escape. It is still unclear what caused the smoke, but no one was injured. The heating system is now operational again.
