Logitech McLaren G Challenge 2020 announced


Logitech G announces in cooperation with McLaren Logitech McLaren G Challenge 2020 at. The G Challenge is now entering its third round and is not only seamlessly building on past e-racing competitions, but is also set to set new standards.

“E-Racing has grown explosively in recent months”says Jim Hoey, head of the G Challenge at Logitech G. “It is clear that the boundary between virtual and real racing is becoming increasingly blurred and that more and more people are getting excited about exciting racing experiences. We are therefore increasing our stake in 2020: the season has been expanded to include even more adrenaline-fueled races, and the participants are driving for bigger prize money. We can’t wait to get started. ”

The G Challenge 2020 winner will receive a four-day all-inclusive trip to London including a behind-the-scenes look at McLaren. This includes a tour of the McLaren Technology Center, exclusive coaching with the internationally known racing driver Lando Norris, a drive in a McLaren supercar and a VIP package for the F1® British Grand Prix 2021.

The Logitech McLaren G Challenge is divided into four divisions: North America, Latin America, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. All of them will host online qualification tournaments and wildcard events in summer 2020. The winners can participate in the regional finals, and the three best racers in each division can compete against each other in the major global finals.

All online qualification tournaments as well as the wildcard races and the regional finals are played on Project CARS 2. The regional finalists win a place in the grand final including travel and accommodation for themselves and an accompanying person.
