With an interest rate of 4.88% and financing for up to 25 years, the mortgage loan for the construction of houses ‘In my land, my house’ from Mutualista Pichincha was launched. The credit and real estate product applies to the purchase of the first and only home on own land, through the Social Interest Housing (VIS) credit.
Home prices range from $ 23,000 to $ 47,400, and since the client owns the land, an entry is not needed. All procedures are included in the cost of the house in public institutions, such as municipal permits, final inspections, raising of the family patrimony that weighs on the land; approval and registrations in the MIDUVI.
The national sales manager of Mutualista Pichincha, Guillermo Jijón, points out that the delivery of the construction service and its financing -from the reservation to the delivery of the house- is of nine months.
The manager highlights that the project is designed for Ecuadorian families who own land and have not had the opportunity to build their own home, and as a consequence continue to rent, so it is expected that the rental value will serve to pay the fees of the house credit.
Among the land requirements to access construction are:
Legalized land without mortgage, in the name of who will request the construction loan.
Level ground and in accessible conditions.
All basic services (water, electricity and sewage)
Minimum dimensions 7×12 meters; and only in the 70.30 m2 model a minimum 7.60 x 16 meters is required.
With the Casa para Todos program, Mutualista Pichincha finances the construction of individual housing under two construction systems: Casa Lista and Hormi2.

Home List It is an industrialized modular construction system earthquake resistant, composed of high resistance precast concrete plates. Its entire process is certified with ISO 9001-2015 Quality Management System.
In addition, Hormi2 It is a constructive system of earthquake resistant reinforced concrete, with thermal insulation, shorter installation time and resistant to fire and explosions. Its polystyrene sheet is covered with high resistance electrowelded meshes forming a structural montero, to which concrete is poured.
Clients can choose from seven types of house, ranging from 50.49 m2 to 84.44 m2 for one and two-story homes, respectively.
Since 2015, approximately 2,400 families have accessed a loan to be able to have a house or apartment of their own under the conditions of the government program Casa para Todos.
