The chairman of the board of the “Living Together” foundation, district administrator Oliver Quilling, presented a check for 7,500 euros to the sports district chairman Jörg Wagner at the reception of the referees from the Offenbach district before the concert in Wolfsgarten Castle. The money goes towards an image film for the sports group.
“During the pandemic, the clubs lost almost 3,000 members. The image film is intended to help reverse this trend and show how diverse the club world is and what opportunities it offers. At the same time, the importance of the sports circle and the clubs for society should be highlighted,” emphasized Oliver Quilling. “The current 275 sports clubs in the district with a total of around 89,000 members, the attractive sports facilities and countless sporting events not only enrich life in the region, they also create a unique sense of community.”

That’s why we as the ‘Living Together’ foundation have decided to give the sports group financial support with this project,” said the district administrator, explaining the foundation’s commitment.
