Liverpool has completed a training camp in Germany. Midfielder Alexis Mac Allister feel a lot of positive things obtained by the Reds.
During their training camp in Germany, Liverpool underwent two trial matches. Against Karlsruher which ended in a 4-2 win and 4-4 draw against Greuther Fuerth.
Mac Allister started for the first time against Greuther Fuerth. He felt the results while in Germany had a positive side for his team.
“This is a pre-season game. Of course we always want to win, but that’s not the most important thing. We know we have to improve in some ways, but it’s good to get a few minutes,” said Mac Allister, quoted from Liverpool’s official website.
“There are a lot of positives (to take from training camp). I am a new player so still have to get to know my team-mates, their strengths and weaknesses, but I think there are very good players here and we can build something important.”
Liverpool will next go to Singapore. There Juergen Klopp’s troops played against Leicester City and Bayern Munich.
“We know that as Liverpool players there are a lot of people waiting for us, so Singapore will be another great experience for us, with two games, very important,” explained Mac Allister.
“So like I said, we’re going to try to improve every day and I think it’s going to be two very good games there.”
