Liverpool have started pre-season training to welcome the 2020/2021 season. The Reds squad trained in a beautiful setting!
The Liverpool players are back from the holidays. From academy players to the main squad, Liverpool left for Austria to undergo pre-season training.
Austria chosen because it is considered safe from the Corona virus pandemic. The players also follow health protocols.
Reporting from the official Liverpool website, Mohamed Salah et al have started training at a training camp on the outskirts of the City of Salzburg, Austria. A city on the Austrian-German border that has a charming landscape.
Salzburg is crossed by the eastern side of the Alps. It is believed that the training camp itself was in a hilly area.
This can be seen from posts on Liverpool’s social media accounts. The Reds squad trained with a landscape of high mountains and dense forest that was fantastic to see.
The players are given a portion of more physical training to restore fitness. The manager, Juergen Klopp, was also there to provide instructions.
Liverpool will navigate the 2020/2021 season as the defending champion Premier League. Of course in the next season, his competitors will not remain silent.
Manchester City and Chelsea have already received several new players. Manchester United is also more mature with a sharp attack line, plus Bruno Fernandes continues.
Liverpool will also play the Community Shield match against the FA Cup winners last season, Arsenal on Sunday (29/8).
