– The southern city Kherson is again completely under the control of Ukraine. The Russians have completely retreated. Ukrainian soldiers entered the city, followed by now by police officers and journalists. The recapture of Kherson is an “important victory”, says Foreign Minister Dmitro Kuleba.
– Sixty jobs have now been won back in the Kherson region, says Ukrainian President Zelensky. Everything was destroyed in the areas, especially important infrastructure for water, electricity, heating and communications.
– The Dutch cabinet moves 110 million euros more to help Ukraine through the winter. The cabinet previously released €70 million for it, but more money is needed due to continued Russian attacks on utilities.
