The U-19 Indonesian national team will face Myanmar U-19 in the fifth match of Group A of the 2022 AFF U-19 Cup. Check out the information on the live streaming link at the end of this article.
The U-19 Indonesia vs Myanmar U-19 duel will take place at the Patriot Candrabhaga Stadium, Bekasi, Sunday (10/7/2022) night, starting at 20:00 WIB.
Garuda Muda will face the final match of Group A of the 2022 AFF U-19 Cup against Myanmar U-19. In the previous match, Shin Tae-yong’s squad won 5-1 against the Philippines U-19. Now, Indonesia U-19 is in third place in the Group A standings table with 8 points from four matches.

“We made many changes in anticipation of the last match (against Myanmar). Now, everyone in the team has been given the opportunity to play. For that, I appreciate the commitment of all players,” said Indonesia head coach Shin Tae-yong.
Nevertheless, Indonesia U-19’s victory had to be paid dearly by the injury of Marselino Ferdinand. He is doubtful for the rest of the AFF U-19 Cup.
“Indeed Marselino Ferdinand will not be able to play for this tournament due to injury, so I am trying to change the mentality of the players so that the players sacrifice themselves. The players must try and know that our team has started to become one,” said Shin Tae-yong.
The U-19 Indonesian national team must win against Myanmar U-19 to qualify for the semifinals of the U-19 AFF Cup. Victory will bring Indonesia’s points to 11, and there can be two other teams with the same results if the Vietnam Vs Thailand match ends in a draw.
Now, Ronaldo Kwateh Cs is only two points adrift of Thailand in second place and Vietnam, which currently occupies the top position of Group A with 10 points. However, Indonesia U-19 is ahead of the total goal difference between the two teams with 11 goals – with the head to head opponent both scoring 0-0.
Meanwhile, Myanmar U-19 has certainly not qualified for the next round after suffering a defeat to Vietnam U-19 on Friday (8/7) with a final score of 1-3. If they win, their point acquisition will not be able to follow the total points from Vietnam and Thailand. Now, Myanmar U-19 is in fourth position with six points from 4 matches.
The two teams last met in 2019, when Indonesia U-19 managed to win with a landslide score of 5-0 over Myanmar U-19 and was entitled to become the third winner of the U-19 AFF Cup.
