Several trade unions and an employers’ federation denounce the absence of a “Covid bonus” for interim nursing staff who worked in health establishments during the coronavirus crisis, citing a “regrettable hitch in the principle of equal treatment”.
“All over the country, temporary medical and paramedical professionals volunteered and joined, without hesitation, health establishments in difficulty”, recall these organizations in a letter of July 24, revealed Friday by Le Monde.
“When an exceptional bonus was announced to recognize the dedication and work made during this period, all these staff logically thought that it would be granted to all of them”, add the signatories (CGT, CFDT, CFTC, FO, CFE-CGC, Unsa and Prism’emploi, which brings together temporary employment companies). In their letter, which AFP obtained, these organizations are surprised at the choice made by the government to exclude temporary workers from this device.
