Bleiswijk – After the successful series of mini concerts, there will be another surprising performance on YouTube on Sunday afternoon, December 20. From 4 p.m. Bobby’s Bigband will be on stage in Cultuurhuis Willem Huygensz. The Christmas concert will later be broadcast on RTV Lansingerland.
During a live broadcast Christmas concert on YouTube you can enjoy fascinating music styles and ballads. Music that makes you swing and move, such as Moondance, Away in a Manger, Baby It’s Cold Outside and Jingle Bells. Bobby’s Bigband consists of enthusiastic amateur musicians, inspired by their professional conductor Freek Halsema. The band consists of five saxophonists, four trombonists, four trumpeters, a bassist and guitarist, pianist and drummer. This special Christmas performance is a mix of arrangements written especially for the band and well-known big band repertoire, instrumental and with vocals.

The concert is a co-production of Cultuur aan het Lint and RTV Lansingerland as part of the Culturona project. Culturona stands for culture during corona.
