Silvio Berlusconi has become infected with the corona virus. A test has shown that, a spokesman for the former Italian prime minister said Wednesday. The incredibly rich media tycoon, who is also the leader of the political party Forza Italia, is 83 years old.

Berlusconi will remain in isolation in his home in Arcore, near Milan, for the time being, but will continue to work. He will support party members in the campaign for regional elections later this month.
