Obama participated in the event, which had approximately 200 attendees, a reduced number because its organizers indicated that they intended to avoid crowds that caused coronavirus infections.

With social distancing and wearing face masks, the participants listened to the former president, who emphasized the importance of going out to vote during election day on Tuesday.

Hours before Obama addressed the public in Miami, the Puerto Rican singer Luis Fonsi was present on the same stage, where he invited to vote in what he called a decisive election for the future of the country.

“We couldn’t have a stronger formula than Joe Biden and Kamala Harris,” Fonsi noted.
