“I saw the puck during Ščotka’s shot. But someone passed him in front of me. It was no longer possible to respond to that. The Comet grabbed the win at the last minute. That’s how hockey is sometimes,” lamented Slovakian goalie Litvínova.
49 shots were fired at Tomek in the match. “Thanks to that, the people of Brno had more opportunities. But I also have my share of such a high number of shots at me. I hit a few pucks unnecessarily. In any case, I much prefer when I’m often in permanent position than when only a few shots go at me in a game,” he claimed.

Thanks to his great saves, Litvínovský had a chance at least for extra time until almost the last moment. “I was catching in Kometa, so these are a bit special matches for me here. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out in the end,” regretted Tomek.
His joy was soured by the fact that, shortly before the Comets scored the difference, he disposed of a tutu to fellow countryman Kristián Pospíšil. “He did well against me in the previous matches, so I was careful about him. But a moment later I cashed anyway, so the good feeling was gone immediately,” he lamented.
Tomka was impressed by the reliable performance of only eighteen-year-old Kometa goalkeeper Jan Kavan. “For the fact that he is starting in the extra league, he acted extremely experienced,” he praised his young goalkeeper colleague.

Litvín’s assistant David Kočí praised Tomek. “He kept us afloat. The Comet was better, but mainly thanks to him we kept up with it tooth and nail. Unfortunately, we didn’t make it until the end of the regular playing time,” he regretted.
He scolded his charges for a lack of consistency. “It manifested itself in a lot of things. It was not the first time in our outdoor duel. We have to learn a lesson. And next time it will also want to approach the match with a higher effort,” Kočí planned immediately.
