JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – Bank Indonesia (BI) has inaugurated the Bank Indonesia Fast Payment (BI-FAST).
BI FAST is a national retail payment that replaces the Bank Indonesia National Clearing System (SKNBI).
BI has a larger transfer fund than RTGS, which is IDR 250 million with a minimum transfer of IDR 1 only.
Payments with this method have the advantage of a payment settlement time of only about 25 seconds.
This is different from the SKNBI transaction model, which is limited to certain hours for large transactions.

The BI-FAST pricing scheme from BI to participants is set at IDR 19 per transaction, while from participants to customers it is set at a maximum of IDR 2,500 per transaction.
This value is cheaper than SKNBI which has a fee of IDR 6,500 per transaction.
