Fabio Quartararo MotoGP world champion 2021 along with results at MotoGP Emilia Romagna. Here’s a complete list of the premier class champions of grand prix motorcycle racing, in the 500cc era and then MotoGP, from year to year.
In the race at Misano, Sunday (24/10) yesterday, Quartararo shot forward from the 15th starting position. He even had time to be in the podium zone even though he finally had to settle for finishing in fourth position. The race was won by Marc Marquez.
For Fabio Quartararo, that result was enough to make it certain to be the 2021 MotoGP champion with two series remaining. This can not be separated from the crash experienced by Francesco Bagnaia while leading the race at Misano.
Bagnaia’s failure to finish made him unable to add points. That’s what smoothed Quartararo to the throne of the MotoGP world champion this season because his points were no longer being overtaken.
Quartararo became the first French rider to become world champion in the premier class of grand prix motorcycle racing. Since 2015, this is the first time that a Yamaha rider has become a MotoGP champion.
Success Fabio Quartararo MotoGP world champion 2021 at the same time breaking the dominance of the Spanish rider. Since 2012, there have been names of riders from the Matador country such as Jorge Lorenzo, Marc Marquez, and Joan Mir who have become champions.
