List of Car Prices That Still Get 100 Percent PPnBM Discount

Relaxation of Sales Tax on Luxury Goods (PPnBM) 100 percent ends today Tuesday (31/8). There is no sign of the 100 percent PPnBM for new 1,500 cc cars being extended.

The provision for PPnBM zero percent or fully borne by the government had previously been running since March 2021 for three months until May. The government decided to extend the 100 percent relaxation period by three months until August 31.

The extension is regulated in the Regulation of the Minister of Finance Number 77 of 2021. It is also stipulated that from September 1 to December 31 the PPnBM incentive for new cars will continue but the amount is reduced to 25 percent. If the rules are changed, it is certain that the selling price of a new car will rise.

There are at least 21 cars that get a relaxation of 100 percent because in accordance with government regulations, namely domestically produced, a maximum engine of 1,500 cc, and a minimum local content of 70 percent.
