Lionel Messi Officially Joins Inter Miami, Snubs Barcelona and Al Hilal Transfer Offers

Lionel Messi has officially moved to Inter Miami. The Argentine player announced it live.

“I made the decision that I will go to Miami. I haven’t finished it 100 percent yet. I missed a few things, but we decided to keep going,” Messi said, in an interview with Mundo Deportivo.

This certainty is the answer to the Messi transfer saga. Previously, the owner of 7 Ballon d’Or had been linked with Barcelona.

Barcelona wants to bring Messi home this summer. The Blaugrana have even invited an agent who is also Messi’s father, Jorge. However, there was no positive progress even though Jorge had said his son wanted to return to Camp Nou.

Barcelona’s obstacle is money. The Catalan giants are still hampered by Financial Fair Play rules if they want to repatriate Messi.
