Piaggio welcomes Chinese New Year by launching a limited edition Vespa. Welcoming the Year of the Dragon, the premium Vespa 946 scooter has been made into a limited edition, the Vespa 946 Dragon.
The limited edition Vespa 946 Dragon is produced exclusively and features a matching varsity jacket to celebrate the Year of the Dragon.
The Vespa brings a uniquely Italian edge to the road and combines it with the power of the dragon, a mythological creature of unrivaled strength and considered a harbinger of prosperity. The launch of the Vespa 946 Dragon took place at the Vespa event to celebrate Chinese New Year in Hong Kong on January 24.

The Vespa 946 comes in a special gold color for the exclusive collector’s edition of the Vespa 946 Dragon. The color reflects the spirit of the two-wheeled vehicle.
The Vespa 946 Dragon is produced in limited quantities. There are only 1,888 units to be produced. This model is decorated with an emerald green dragon motif surrounding it.

To commemorate the launch of the Vespa 946 Dragon and the celebration of Chinese New Year, Vespa also released its fashion products. The exclusive Dragon Varsity Jacket with dragon livery signifies the legendary status of the iconic two-wheeler and combines Vespa style and heritage.
Inspired by the Vespa 946 Dragon design, the varsity jacket uses wool and nappa leather which features an emerald green dragon motif. Also equipped with motifs and embroidery on the left pocket and back. The front of this jacket features Vespa’s iconic V monogram as well as an ancient Chinese proverb.
