Paris (AFP) – Four days after their trip to Chelsea for the first leg of the Champions League round of 16, Lille gave a worrying image in their 0-0 draw at home against Metz, a team from the lower zone, this Friday at the start of matchday 25 of Ligue 1.
Without motivation and without ideas in the first half, and without effectiveness in the second, Lille is ninth after this draw. He could have provisionally taken fifth place in the event of victory.
With 21 points, Metz is 18th (playoff position due to permanence), waiting for the rest of the weekend’s games.
