After so many soap operas, already, on the finally aborted sale of the ASNL until then, the “10 Sport” announced on Thursday that the Nancy club would, this time, be close to being sold to the businessman Chinese-American Chien Lee from “NewCity Capital”. A group well known in Europe for having already invested in Barnsley (England), Thun (Switzerland) and Ostend (Belgium), a group also spent by OGC Nice three years.
Jacques Rousselot, for his part, confirms nothing at all. Discussions are clearly moving in the right direction for the sale but without materialization, yet. There would always be several buyers on the spot, not just the Chinese-American Chien Lee. Jacques Rousselot absolutely wants to avoid a new soap opera after the about-face of the City Football Group which finally took over Troyes: there will be no communication from the ASNL on this subject until the sale is official, without risk of collapsing again.
