Tobacco: increases … and decreases

On the other hand, the prices of certain brands, such as the Winston Connect Blue, lose 10 cents, from 9.50 euros to 9.40 euros for a pack of 20 cigarettes, or even 20 cents, like the Royale by Davidoff Evolved Red, at 9.50 euros instead of 9.70 euros.

The amount of Marlboro Red, the best-selling reference, remains unchanged at 10 euros.

The prices of roll-your-own tobacco (Austin, Elixyr …) or of shisha (Taboo …), as well as those of cigars and cigarillos are, on the whole, rising.

As a reminder, the prices set by the manufacturers, who pass on the taxes regularly raised by the State as they see fit, are jointly approved by the Minister of Solidarity and Health and the Minister of Action and Public Accounts.

The government aims to gradually raise the average price to 10 euros by the end of the year in order to reduce tobacco consumption.

Lower gas prices, before rising

On July 1, regulated gas sales prices (Engie) fell by -0.3% compared to the scale in force the previous month. However, it will be followed by a first increase of + 0.2% in August, then this smoothing will continue for 8 months, until stabilization at the end of February 2021. “The health crisis has indeed led to a historic drop in prices for natural gas in Europe, which could result in a catch-up and therefore an increase in prices at the end of the year. Reduction and capping of certain bank charges

From July 1, under the Pacte law, the opening, maintenance, transaction and transfer costs of a share savings plan (PEA) or a share savings plan intended for the financing of SMEs and mid-caps (PEA-PME) will be reduced. For example, the opening costs will be limited to 10 euros, and the costs of transferring the PEA to another establishment will be 15 euros, instead of around 100 euros currently, per line of securities held transferred. All costs are capped at 150 euros.

Entry into force of long-term partial unemployment

The new long-term partial unemployment scheme, which will require a collective agreement, will come into force on July 1 and will compensate employees at 84% of net salary with a 15% remaining charge for companies for a maximum of two years. . This system, intended to safeguard jobs in difficulty due to the health crisis, will be more advantageous than the classic partial unemployment scheme, which, as of October 1, will no longer compensate employees for up to 72% of the net salary, with a 40% remaining charge for companies. This basic scheme, thus redefined, will be valid for a maximum of six months.

Expanded information around exposure to waves

Tablets, connected watches, radio-controlled toys … From Wednesday, the obligation to display the specific absorption rate (DAS) will be expanded. It will no longer concern only mobile telephones, but also all radio equipment likely to be used near the human body, up to 20 centimeters. The authorized limit values ​​are 2 W / kg (watt per kilogram) for the head and trunk, 4 W / kg for the members. The government recalls that, in an opinion issued last fall, the National Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health Safety (ANSES) indicates that certain expert reports show biological effects on brain activity in the event of exposure to a SAR level above 2 W / kg.

Continuation of the rent management system in Paris

The rental framework, in force in the capital since July 1, 2019, is maintained. The new reference rents, fixed by a decree, will be applicable from July 1. The system, which concerns furnished and unfurnished accommodation in the Parisian private rental stock, must be tested until November 23, 2023.

Payment of financial assistance for seasonal agricultural workers
