The Liepāja Symphony Orchestra has been the resident orchestra at Rundāle Palace for ten years now – since the conductor of the orchestra Uldis Lipskis and the then director of Rundāle Palace Imantas Lancmani signed a cooperation agreement in May 2014, almost 60 concerts played in this architectural pearl. in various forms.

Over the years, the sounds of Liepāja have recognized the Rundāle Palace, the French Garden, the Green Theater, which is recognized by international experts, as well as the Golden Hall, which contains both the idea of ​​the Palace of Versailles and son -hall of the Gold Gallery in Berlin’s Charlottenburg Palace is prominent.

This serenade will surprise you with its light and graceful beauty, in which the poet’s imagination collected a multitude of themes, creating light, elegant, lyrical and solemn social music.

Muscat’s “Concerto grosso” is a modern interpretation of the Baroque period a big concert a genre where groups of instruments or soloists play with the whole orchestra, and Muscat’s writing combines classical traditions with clear and dynamic melodies, creating an interesting and unusual listening experience.
