Starting with the new year, the municipality of Liepāja will start accepting applications for the issuance of a permit for the 2024 season of street sales and catering services in the city of Liepāja, except in the park area.
To facilitate the submission process, we invite you to submit submissions together with the necessary documents electronically:
- using the municipal e-services portal epakalpojumi.liepaja.lv and filling out the service form “Application for Trade Permits 2024” (will be active from January 1),
- by sending the application to the municipality e-address, drawn up with a secure electronic signature in accordance with the Law on Electronic Documents and the procedure for drawing up electronic documents.
Application forms and descriptions of public services for street trading and catering services in the city of Liepāja are available in the “Trading Permits” section of the municipality’s website.
If it is not possible to submit documents electronically, they can be submitted in person at Liepāja’s Central Administration, Rožu Street 6, Customer Service and Service Center, Room 123: Mondays from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays from 8.30 to 17.00 and on Fridays from 8.30 until 16.00

It is possible to apply for a face-to-face consultation on street sales and public catering service issues with street sales specialists electronically, using the electronic registration system in the “Online registration” section of the municipality’s website www.liepaja.lv.

Shops in the park area
In order to ensure fair competition in the Jūrmala park area, the Liepāja Real Estate Administration will hold an auction of lease rights for new places of street trade and catering services in the long term. The auction is planned to be announced at the beginning of 2024. Information about the auction and auction rules will be published in the “Auctions” section of the municipality’s website.
