The Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer Letv has introduced the S1 Pro smartphone, the design of which is almost completely copied from the Apple iPhone 14 Pro. Unfortunately, very little is known about the characteristics of the novelty.
Letv revealed on Weibo on Wednesday that the S1 Pro will go on sale in China soon. Letv S1 Pro is positioned by the company as a budget smartphone with support for 5G networks. The device is powered by an octa-core Huben T7510 processor, which is reportedly comparable in performance to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 series chips.
The appearance of Letv S1 Pro is very similar to the design of the iPhone 14 Pro. This includes the triple camera setup on the back and the shape of the front selfie camera cutout, although it is unknown if the phone will get similar features to Dynamic Island. Note that earlier the Chinese company copied the design of Apple devices. The previous model LeTV Y1 Pro + has a similar design to the iPhone 13.
The company is expected to share more details about the new smartphone in the coming days, and then reveal information about its other features regarding the functioning of the camera, display, etc.
The Letv S1 Pro will reportedly go on sale in China for less than 1,000 yuan (about $145).
